Transforming Women's Lives Through Digital Skills

Join a community of women learning digital skills through expert-led mentorship and support to achieve financial freedom

The Problem We Are Solving

The digital age, though ushering in more opportunities and at the forefront of building modern economies, is bringing about gender disparity and skills gap among Nigerian women who are unable to participate due to lack of access to affordable resources or appropriate skills demanded of those industries.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics report (2021), over 23 million young to middle-aged women who have a university degree are either unemployed or underemployed. A 2021 Global Gender Gap Report by World Economic Forum, Nigeria ranks 139th out of 153 countries, revealing that women take the backseat in the technology industry, leaving men to drive the industry. Nigerian women suffer cultural bias towards female education, disparity, poverty, and funding availability and mentorship from female industry leaders are major factors contributing to this prevalent problem (World Economic Forum, 2023).

Gozi is a young to middle-aged woman in Nigeria who is either unemployed or underemployed who needs basic digital skills and information to earn a stable living; because she lacks affordable resources to gain these skills - making her feel left behind and watching the digital economy grow around her but unable to participate.

These women should benefit from the opportunities presented by the tech boom to take control of their futures, finances and provide for their families where they are truly independent.
